It’s a sad time for the movie industry as news about Alan Rickman’s death circulated online and offline. The beloved British actor died on Thursday at 69 after a short battle with cancer.

Fans, co-stars, and friends have taken to various social networks to mourn for and celebrate the life of Alan Rickman.
